Setting the tone for the 2008 Avalanche Triple Crown, the inaugural Valle Crucis 25K was run on Saturday, May 3 starting at 8:00am in beautiful Valle Crucis, North Carolina. The early spring date provided an opportunity for runners to push their early season fitness in preparation for summer events.
